Poster Contest

The Vocations Poster Contest is conducted annually to foster religious vocations among our youth. It is open to students of St. Mary Religious Education Program and St. Mary School. First, Second and Third Place Winning Posters are selected from each of four grade groups. Group I grade 1&2, Group II grades 3&4, Group III grades 5&6 and Group IV grades 7&8. The First Place poster in each grade group is entered in the statewide competition. St. Mary Parish has had a number of state level winners.

In 2004 the Substance Abuse Poster Contest was added.  Grades 5-8 participate in this contest.

Judging is traditionally held in early February with an exhibit of all entries in the parish hall several weeks later.
