Scholarships and Awards

Each year Pavia Council grants two, four year college scholarships. The recipients each receive $1,000 per year for four years.  To be eligible an applicant must be

bulletA resident of the Town of Bethel, Connecticut OR the son or daughter of a member in good standing of Pavia Council #48 OR the son or daughter of a deceased member of Pavia Council #48 who was in good standing at the time of his death.
bulletAn active Catholic.
bulletEntering the freshman year in a regionally accredited, undergraduate college/university/or seminary in the United States as a regular, full-time matriculated student in a program leading to a bachelor’s degree.

Seniors may obtain an application through their school guidance office or at St. Mary Rectory.

Presentations are made at an event held in early June.
