Volunteerism informed by Christian concern is the hallmark of the Knights of Columbus and results in outstanding contributions of time and talent to the Catholic Church, our communities, families, young people and brother Knights.

Fraternal and charitable programs arise at the grassroots level to meet the needs of local parishes and communities ... here are highlights of just a few of the programs that Pavia Council runs in support of the youth of our community.  Follow the links for more detailed information.

Scholarships and Awards
Each year Pavia Council grants two, four year College Scholarships. The recipients each receive $1,000 per year for four years.  Scholarships are available to high school seniors who are members of St. Mary Parish and will be attending a four year school.

Free Throw Competition
Each year, Pavia Council conducts a local free throw competition in St. Mary’s School gymnasium.  All competitors receive a Certificate of Participation. Winners in each division receive a trophy and are eligible to progress through district, regional and state level competitions.

Soccer Challenge
An annual fall event, the soccer challenge gives local kids an opportunity to demonstrate the skills of the popular sport. All participants receive a certificate with winners in all catagories walking away with a trophy and the eligibility to advance to the district, regional, and state level competitions.
