2002 Pasta Dinner in support of the Scholarship Fund. Many

Contest. 32 area boys and girls competed for trophies and
the right to move on to the District contest. |
Not
resting on their laurels from Thanksgiving, Brother Knights took
part in Brotherhood-In-Action
to deliver food - and presents - to 84 Bethel families for

Council hosts a Christmas holiday party for residents of the
Bishop Curtis home. |
Brother
Knights - and some family members - raise funds for Council
activities by selling "Holy Bears" at the St Mary
School Christmas Craft Fair. |
Brotherhood-In-Action
delivered food to 70 Bethel families this Thanksgiving.

Brotherhood-In-Action
is not only about Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. BIA
is about community ... and in that vein, BIA hosted a party for
the members of Bishop Curtis Homes. |
For eight weekend evenings during October Pavia
Council Knights converged on Blue Jay Orchards to asist in the
operation of the Bethel Jaycees Haunted House. This
volunteer work earned $1100 for the Scholarship
Fund. |
On
Sunday, October 7, more than 200 Knights, families and friends
shared breakfast with Bishop
Lori - the honored guest and featured speaker during this year's
Communion Breakfast. |
In October
dozens of brothers donned vests and solicited donations for
individuals with mental retardation. More than $1700 was
collected for this cause - which appears to be a record for this
annual drive! |
The
2001-2002 fraternal year started with a family picnic in August.
Let's hope we can make this a yearly tradition! |
